Acceleration is the speed of a moving thing. To find the acceleration, we can subtract the previous speed with the current speed and divide it with the time. The unit for finding the acceleration is meter per second.
Comparing to the speed and the acceleration graph, the speed graph show us how much the runner was slowing down as the runner get closer to the finish line. And if the slope gets steeper,that means the runner is running faster and if the slope is not so steep that means it is going in a slower speed. The Acceleration graph show us where they speed up and where they slow down. But the speed graph show us the how fast and how slow the runner is going.
